What's on offer?

Itch Recruitment seeks an experienced Escort Driver / Peggy to join our client's crew on a 12 month project based on a BHP site in the Pilbara. You will initially be employed on a casual contract, with permanent employment on offer after 6 months. Our client is offering a 2:1 roster flying ex-Perth completing 11.5 hour days in a small crew. To be considered for this role you must have previous experience working within a mining pit environment. Our client is paying a flat rate of $50 per hour working day shift only.

To hit the ground running with this team you must have the following experience:

- Previous vehicle escorting experience is essential to be considered for this role or experience operating mobile plant equipment in an open pit mining environment

- Previous experience working within a mining pit is essential to be considered for this role

- Previous experience as a Peggy or Utility in a mine site setting is highly regarded

- Candidates with a BHP induction will be highly regarded

What's involved, you ask?

- Escort heavy vehicles and equipment around site and within the mining pit

- Clean and maintain crib rooms, offices and communal site facilities

- Stocktake of supplies

- Cleaning of vehicles and equipment

- Use of two way radio

Tickets and Licences required?

- Current drivers licence, HR drivers licence highly regarded

- White card

- BHP induction (highly regarded)

- 4WD certificate (highly regarded)

- Able to complete a pre-employment medical and pass a drug and alcohol screening

- Must reside in WA and have approved working rights
