Uncork Your Next Career Adventure: Marketing Co-ordinator Wanted

Do you have a nose for great storytelling and a palate for creativity?

Our client is searching for a Marketing Coordinator who knows how to make ideas flow as smoothly as a well-aged Cabernet. If you can blend your marketing skills with your love for wine, this role might just be your perfect pairing.

This is also one of my OG favourite clients so this ad might be a little longer than usual, so, pour yourself a glass, settle in, read on, and see if this opportunity is to your taste.

Let’s give you a taste of what a day will look like.
We will provide you with a lot more detail at interview.

Social Media & Digital Content

- Plan and curate content across social platforms like Facebook and Instagram to keep the audience thirsty for more.

- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to align marketing messages with business goals, ensuring a smooth finish every time.

Trade Marketing & Brand Management

- Craft and refine the Brand Bible to ensure consistency—because in marketing, just like in winemaking, balance and consistency is everything.

- Coordinate wine submissions, press releases, and media outreach for product launches.

Events Coordination

- Oversee the logistics and promotion of major and minor annual events that’ll have guests toasting to good times and great wine.

- Organise logistics for tastings, roadshows, and special events—because nothing pairs better with wine than a well-executed gathering (and attend when required).

Wine Club & Direct-to-Consumer

- Partner with the Wine Club team to craft compelling email campaigns (EDMs) that’ll keep the members eagerly awaiting their next delivery.

- Assist in managing website content to ensure every digital interaction is as smooth as a premium blend.

Administration

- Prepare polished documents for trade partners, media outlets, and internal stakeholders—because presentation is key, both in wine and marketing.

- Provide administrative support, from coordinating media submissions to working with suppliers to get the best deals.

So, what are the blend of skills that we need you to have?

- Proven experience (4+ years) in marketing, social media management, and digital content creation.

- A passion for wine (or at least a deep appreciation for it—you don’t need to be a sommelier, but you should know your Chardonnay from your Cabernet).

- A way with words that’ll leave readers as captivated.

- Proficiency with Meta tools, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite—because we need you to be as skilled with tech as a winemaker is with a barrel.

- The ability to juggle multiple projects without popping your cork!

- A collaborative spirit that pairs well with cross-functional teams.

Why You’ll Love This Role

- Join a company where your ideas can age beautifully, be it something for today or an idea that will be better with a bit of time.

- Occasional trips to the stunning winery and Cellar Door, where you can taste the fruits of your marketing labour firsthand.

- Be part of a fun, supportive team that values creativity, collaboration, and a good laugh (because let’s face it, life is too short for bad wine and boring jobs).

- Beautiful modern office that is situated on the CBD fringe – seriously all of us at Itch are jealous of this place (and we have a pretty cool pad!
